YDBKA Annual Auction 2016
To all members who are down-sizing or who have surplus stock to sell. To all members who may be raising nucs this spring. If you know in advance what you are going to put into our annual auction and want to get the best price for it, then please email a list of your items to auction@yorkbeekeepers.com. We will make up a list of the items on the website so that we attract more beekeepers to the auction. We often get people coming from some distance in search of a bargain and in this way we feel our members will not only sell their stock but also get a good price for it. Please remember that live bees must be accompanied by a certificate of good health from a registered bee inspector before we can accept them for auction.
Items accepted from 9.00am with viewing from 11.00am. Auction starts at 12 noon.
Bees accepted Sunday morning (9.00am) – MUST BE EXAMINED by the Bee Inspector prior to arrival.
Payment for items purchased at the Auction can only be made with cash or by cheque as we have no facility to accept any plastic cards whatsoever.
